Ancient Egypt and the influence of gemstones

In Ancient Egypt gems were used as a symbol of health, luck and protection.

These stones reflect joy and delight.

the stone of wisdom and serenity,known to release mental tensions and dispel depression were used as eye washes amongst the Egyptians.

The sapphires were known amongst  the people to ward off the evil spirits and  a glimpse of this stone was believed to bring in good luck
